The Sarva Pakshika Aragalakaruwo organisation submitted a four-point proposal in order to find solutions to the present economic and political crisis in the country, yesterday (06) in Colombo.
The points include;
- Gotabaya Rajapaksa should immediately resign from the Presidency
- The government represented by Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickeremasinghe should be abolished immediately
- An Interim all-party government should be established to govern the country and no member of parliament who has been accused of corruption during the rule of Rajapaksa should be included
- The interim government will last for only one year and the top-priority issues of the public should be solved quickly during that period
Several opposition party leaders, Sajith Premadasa, Maithripala Sirisena, Mano Ganesan among others were seen participating in the conference.
