The representatives from ‘Aragalaya’ today (19) denied links to moves to form a new political party by a faction of the movement.
The representatives said that they condemn moves by some to form a political party. They alleged that the attempt was a move to split the movement.
The representatives also said that they would not protest near Parliament both today and tomorrow (20).
Instead, they urged the public to gather in their own towns and villages and protest against the Acting President, Ranil Wickremesinghe.
