The Sri Lanka Railway Department has increased its ticket fares from midnight tomorrow (22), Railways General Manager, Dhammika Jayasundara said.
He said the Gazette Notification on this revision was sent to print.
As such, the train fares will be increased by an amount equivalent to half the bus fare for the identical distance.
