Sri Lanka will receive the first consignment of jet fuel on 12 – 14 August.
The Minister of Power and Energy, Kanchana Wijesekera, said the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) has entered into a one year agreement for the supply of jet fuel.
He added that the payment was made yesterday (02) for a diesel cargo, and will begin discharging today (03).
Advance payments were made to another consignment of diesel and petrol cargos.
